Sydney rockers Wolfmother are here,
bursting down the doors with their long-awaited self-titled debut album. The
album features reworks of all four tracks from their immensely popular 2004 EP
release, plus several new punchy numbers.
Dimension, Joker and the Thief, Mind's Eye and Woman are among the highlighted
tracks, however all tracks are so good that it is hard to pick any above the
others.
Many tracks are unpredictable. A surprise flute appearance in Witchcraft
is just one example of why.
Wolfmother's debut album places them with the likes of great Australian rock
including Powderfinger and even AC/DC.
This is just the beginning for Wolfmother. Their late '60s and early '70s heavy
metal sound and outstanding combined musical ability is sure to take them to
great heights in the future. We, like many others, eagerly await their next
release. | |
